Job Title

Travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | Friday–Sunday 6:00 PM–6:30 AM | On-Call & Holiday Rotation | Travel

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general and vascular ultrasound examinations in a high-volume acute care setting with an average of 35 patients daily
• Conduct procedures including paracentesis, thoracentesis, thyroid biopsies, and arterial vascular studies
• Operate GE Logiq E10 ultrasound equipment and document findings within the Meditech system
• Participate in on-call rotation on Friday and Saturday nights on a 4–5 week rotation, as well as holiday rotation in accordance with facility policy
• Adhere to patient experience standards including AIDET communication framework
• Collaborate within a 24/7 sonography team staffed by credentialed professionals

Required Qualifications

• ARDMS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in ultrasound technology/sonography
• Demonstrated experience in general and vascular ultrasound
• Proficiency with GE ultrasound equipment and electronic documentation systems
• Ability to work nights, weekends, on-call shifts, and holidays as scheduled

Preferred Experience / Skills

• RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) certification preferred
• Arterial vascular experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
• Experience working in a trauma or acute care hospital environment
