Physical Therapist – Inpatient Rehabilitation

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 5×8 or 4×10 Hours | 2 Weekend Shifts Required Per Month | On-Call Not Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment to patients in a 46-bed inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Support patient care needs across a facility that includes a 10-bed LTACH/ICU unit
• Document patient care and progress using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in weekend coverage, with 2 weekend shifts expected per month
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska PT license or compact PT license — must be in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• All requested time off must be submitted upfront at the time of candidacy submission; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an inpatient rehabilitation or LTACH/ICU setting
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Ability to adapt to varied scheduling needs within an acute rehabilitation environment
