Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 3×12-Hour Shifts (11:00 AM – 11:30 PM) | On-Call Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care for adult and pediatric patients in a high-acuity PACU environment
• Manage on-call obligations, including 2 on-call shifts Monday–Friday and 1 twelve-hour on-call shift on weekends within a 6-week schedule, as well as 1 summer and 1 winter on-call holiday
• Utilize Cerner Aceis Surgi Net for clinical documentation and charting
• Float to affiliated GI or pain center units as needed
• Deliver care in alignment with Level I Trauma standards and critical care protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active, valid Registered Nurse (RN) state license required at time of submission
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Critical Care or PACU
• Level I Trauma experience and ICU background required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates; a local rate differential applies for those within the radius
• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
• Time-off requests (RTO) must be submitted at time of candidate submission; RTO submitted after will not be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in SICU (Surgical ICU), MICU (Medical ICU), or CTICU (Cardiothoracic ICU)
• Familiarity with mixed adult and pediatric patient populations
• Prior travel nursing experience (first-time travelers are welcome to apply)
