MRI Technician

Contract | Days | Three 12-hour shifts, tentatively 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, with some schedule flexibility available

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
• Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, identifying and reporting any technical issues
• Review and assess image quality to ensure diagnostic accuracy
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support patient care

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification in MRI or equivalent required
• Current state licensure or registration as required
• Demonstrated knowledge of MRI safety protocols and procedures
• Ability to work three 12-hour day shifts per week

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a high-volume MRI environment
• Familiarity with a variety of MRI sequences and imaging protocols
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills
