Travel RN – Medical Surgical / Observation

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Observation unit in an acute care hospital setting
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, document findings, and communicate changes to the care team
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Tennessee or a compact state license
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing
- Ability to work weekend day shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an Observation or step-down unit setting
- Familiarity with HCA Healthcare systems and workflows
- Experience with Joint Commission-accredited facilities
