Job Title

Radiology/Cardiology Tech – X-ray/Rad Tech

Location

Akron, OH | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 4×10-Hour Shifts | Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday | 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray and radiology/cardiology studies in an acute care hospital setting
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with facility protocols and safety standards
• Ensure accurate patient identification and proper positioning for all imaging procedures
• Document imaging results and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with facility requirements
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations with an acceptable passing score
• Complete facility-required annual hands-on competency and modules as applicable throughout the contract period

Required Qualifications

• Active, permanent Ohio state license (or Compact license for starts dated 1/1/2023 and forward) required at time of submission — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in X-ray/Radiology Tech specialty
• All required certifications must be active with nothing pending at time of submission
• One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in the applicable specialty required for submission
• Must be nicotine-free — negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine/cotinine required within 12 months of start date, updated annually (applies to all non-nurse, non-CST travelers)
• Locals are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel assignment experience in a radiology or cardiology setting
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessment protocols
• Experience working within a large health system environment
