Travel RN – PCU / Transplant Step-Down (Nights)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Expected Start: October 13, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Transplant Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting
• Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level care following transplant procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient status and nursing interventions
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications as required for this unit

Required Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas (or compact license eligibility)
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a PCU, step-down, or comparable acute care setting
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Tuesday start date availability required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a transplant or specialty PCU environment
• Familiarity with intermediate cardiac monitoring and telemetry
• Experience in a high-acuity step-down or progressive care unit at a large medical center
