Job Title

Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS)

Arcata, CA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Onsite — schedule may be four 8-hour, four 10-hour, or three 12-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform clinical laboratory testing as a generalist across multiple departments
• Utilize strong benchwork skills to ensure accurate and timely results
• Operate and navigate the facility’s Laboratory Information System (LIS)
• Maintain compliance with all applicable regulatory and safety standards, including TB clearance requirements

Required Qualifications

• Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) license required
• Generalist background with strong hands-on benchwork experience
• Experience with Harvest LIS preferred; familiarity with comparable LIS platforms considered
• TB clearance obtained within the past 12 months required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel or contract laboratory experience
• Proficiency across multiple laboratory departments (e.g., hematology, chemistry, microbiology, blood bank)
• Experience with Harvest LIS
