Job Title

Travel Respiratory Therapist

Location

Ishpeming, MI | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within an acute care critical access hospital setting
• Deliver inpatient respiratory care including assessment, treatment, and monitoring of patients with cardiopulmonary conditions
• Respond to emergency respiratory situations and support critical care needs across the facility
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including hospitalists and emergency services staff
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• ACLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice in Michigan

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a critical access hospital or rural acute care environment
• Experience with a broad range of respiratory modalities including ventilator management and pulmonary diagnostics
• Familiarity with Joint Commission accreditation standards and compliance requirements
