Johnston joined Malone in 2022 as President of the Healthcare and Government divisions. He has nearly two decades experience in healthcare staffing and is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Interdisciplinary Leadership at Creighton University. Prior to this, he completed his master’s in organizational leadership from the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and executive master’s in healthcare leadership from Brown University. Johnston is passionate about healthcare, mentoring, entrepreneurship, acquisitions, travel, history, art, cuisine, sporting events, and time with family. Johnston and his wife, Shannyn, have a daughter, Harper, and reside in Omaha, NE. They are committed donors and patrons to various organizations throughout the Omaha, NE, Sioux City, IA, and Louisville, KY, communities.

Robert Franey is one of our Recruiting Managers, leading a team of recruiters that manage a group of about 175 nurses. Robert has been with Malone for almost four years and thoroughly enjoys Porky Butts BBQ (he was even the Customer of the Month in 2022)! Robert’s favorite part of being on the Malone team is being able to help grow the contract nurse division.

As the Manager of Learning and Development, Lauren brings over 15 years of sales, training, and development experience to Malone Healthcare. With the help of her incredible team, she drives the training initiatives at Malone with an individualistic approach that makes the impossible seem possible. “It’s not about what we do, it’s about who we do it for.” Lauren is driven by the desire to help all employees and leaders grow into the best version of themselves. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family on the lake, reading, writing blog articles, and feeding ducks.

Hannah Bryant joined Malone in 2023 as Manager of Client Services, bringing over 15 years of industry experience to the team along with a passion for and understanding of the direct impact our services have on our clients and their communities. Hannah believes in building relationships built on a foundation of mutual trust, respect, and transparency with the goal of exceeding expectations every step of the way. Outside of the office, Hannah enjoys skiing, watersports, gardening, and DIY projects. She currently lives in Omaha, NE with her family.

Anna has been in the staffing industry for 7 years and has done all sides of the business from recruiting, account management, and business development. She enjoys working in staffing because no day is the same and there are always new challenges and situations at hand. Anna recently bought a new home with her husband, Jacob, and are parents to their 9-year-old dog, Mia. In her free time, she likes to work out, play sports, try new fitness classes, shop, go to brunch, and travel. Anna has a go-getter attitude and she puts 100% into her work and personal life. She thrives in building new, genuine business relationships and having the opportunity to build a team at Malone founded on a “how can I help” mindset.

Michelle joined Malone in 2023 as the Manager of Compliance. She has almost 10 years of experience in the industry, including compliance and recruiting. Her passion has always been in processes, training and implementing best practices for operations. Michelle enjoys collaborating with the sales team and generating ideas that create an environment and culture that produces quality candidates and company success. When she is not at the office, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family (husband and three children) and their amazing circle of friends!

Jessica Bohn is our Payroll & Billing Supervisor. Jessica has been with Malone for three years and is responsible for making sure our amazing nurses get paid accurately and on time. Additionally, she is responsible for all billing. Jessica is a super Friends fan and wishes she could teleport anywhere at any time! Jessica’s favorite part about being on the Malone team is the relationships and camaraderie she’s built with her coworkers.

Michelle returned to Omaha to be with her family and her favorite thing is watching her 16 year old brother play baseball.

Reva joined Malone in 2023 as the Allied Recruitment Manager of the Allied Health Division. Reva has over 8 years of experience in the Industry, including Recruitment, Client Management and Business Development. Reva’s passion and experience lies in all things Allied, including Radiology, Laboratory, Therapy, Cardiopulmonary and more. In Reva’s free time, you can find her building computers, reading, painting, playing music and spending time with her dog.

Doug is a Recruitment Manager in our Long-Term Care Division. He takes pride in leading his team in placing CNAs, LPNs and RNs in facilities that match their skill sets and personal goals. Doug and his wife Diana of nearly 25 years have two sons, Sam and Max. Max is a Senior in college majoring in Computer Science and Sam is entering his 3rd year in Dental school. In his spare time, Doug enjoys spending time with family, gardening, landscaping, and spending time at the lake.

Ryan Guthrie is one of our Recruiting Managers, overseeing our acute care nurse division. Ryan has been with Malone for 3 years and enjoys using his past experience in healthcare to push the envelope of what we can achieve for travel nurses. Ryan’s favorite dessert is ice cream and in his spare time, he enjoys finishing his wife’s sentences (she, however, does not enjoy this). Ryan’s favorite part of working for Malone is that he is able to directly contribute to building a workplace that enables its employees, both in the office and in the field, to accomplish their goals.

Ethan Brian is a Recruiting Manager for our Acute Care Travel Nurse division. Ethan has been with Malone Healthcare since 2021 and works diligently to ensure our nurses are taken care of while out in the field. His favorite movie is Basic and he’s a big fan of Squid Games. His go-to dessert is a toss up between pudding and sorbet as he has to finish light after indulging in his entree. Ethan has an incredible sense of direction so he’s the person you want navigating your way through a new place. His favorite part about working with Malone Healthcare is the family-run feel and the events that we are lucky enough to do rather frequently. It truly feels like a family and going into work is something he can look forward to. Problems are quickly dealt with and most people at the company truly embrace change, which is not something not experienced at other workplaces.

Melody joined Malone in 2016. She has nearly a decade of experience in behavioral health and therapist staffing and recruiting, and loves helping people. Outside of Malone, she is a music director at a church in Ft. Wayne, IN. Melody is passionate about her family – she and Kevin have five adult children, a pug, Waldorf, and ten “grands.” She enjoys good coffee, wine, and chocolate.

Scott lives on the north side of Chicago where he and his wife are active in the Roscoe Village community.
