Key Responsibilities

• Scrub into a high-volume OR environment supporting 18–20 cases per day across 7 operating suites
• Assist with a broad range of surgical cases including Laparoscopic, Bariatrics, Orthopedic, Neuro, Urology, GYN, and ENT procedures
• Maintain sterile field and ensure proper handling of surgical instruments and supplies
• Participate in on-call rotation including some nights and weekends; expected 1 week of night call per week and 2 twelve-hour weekend call shifts per month with a 30-minute call response time
• Float to Pre-Op and Post-Op areas as needed
• Support sterile processing duties including assembly of instrument sets and decontamination using Steris and Sterrad equipment

Required Qualifications

• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Availability for holiday coverage as required
• Ability to meet a 30-minute on-call response time
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation including nights and weekends

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification preferred
• Sterile processing certification preferred: IAHCSMM or CBSPD
• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Prior experience scrubbing in a multi-specialty OR environment
