Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend & Holiday | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 12-bed Emergency Department with a 1:3–4 patient ratio
• Manage ventilator-dependent patients and perform drip titration as part of routine care
• Float throughout the facility within scope of skillset as needed
• Adapt to a block scheduling environment where shift schedules may vary
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using electronic health record systems

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN License
• AHA BLS Certification
• AHA ACLS Certification
• AHA PALS Certification
• NIHSS Certification
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience; no first-time travelers — must have at least 2 completed travel contracts
• Critical access hospital experience required
• Demonstrated experience with ventilator management and drip titration
• Must live at least 40 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge nurse experience in an emergency or acute care setting
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
• Highly adaptable, resilient, and comfortable managing change in a fast-paced environment
