Registered Nurse – ICU (Neuro)

Contract | Days | 3×12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Neuro ICU setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status using the Epic electronic health record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• May float to the Emergency Department, Step Down Unit, or Central Monitoring Department as needed
• Adhere to facility compliance standards, including timely documentation and adherence to unit protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN License – must be in hand at time of submission (Nursys upload required, dated within the last 2 weeks)
• ACLS certification (AHA or ARC) – must be in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC) – must be in hand at time of submission
• NIH Stroke Scale certification – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience; application must reflect at least 1 year of Neuro ICU experience
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Local candidates are welcome; candidates within 50 miles of the facility are accepted at a local rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification preferred
• Prior experience floating to Emergency Department or Step Down Unit settings
