Registered Nurse – IMC / PCU / Stepdown

Contract | Full-Time | Days (3×12-Hour Shifts, 7:00–19:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care / Step-Down unit within a short-term acute care facility at an expected ratio of 1:4
• Manage patients requiring cardiac drips and post cath lab procedural care
• Care for patients with tracheostomy and ventilator needs
• Float between units as needed within the contracted facility
• Work weekends as required — expected 6 weekend shifts per schedule period
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license — Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of IMC / PCU / Step-Down experience required
• Experience with cardiac drips, post cath lab care, and trach/vent management
• Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at time of submittal — post-offer RTO requests may not be granted
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a Level II Trauma Center environment
• Familiarity with step-down or progressive care workflows in a high-acuity acute care setting
• Flexibility to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted location
