Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | Overtime may be available
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Telemetry setting with the ability to float to Intermediate/ICU and General Medical units within the same facility
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Perform NIHSS assessments as required by patient population and unit needs
- Utilize Epic EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (Compact license accepted)
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience
- Must be able to float to Intermediate/ICU and General Medical units within the facility
- Must live at least 80 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience (at least 1 previous travel assignment in a General setting)
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- Experience with NIHSS assessments
