Job Title

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Travel Contract

Location

Oklahoma City, OK | Inpatient Rehabilitation

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM | Expected 32 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy assistant services within an inpatient rehabilitation setting, treating adult and geriatric populations
• Assist in the rehabilitation of patients recovering from CVA, amputation, orthopedic injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other complex conditions
• Utilize specialized rehabilitation equipment including standard rehab devices, Ekso NR, and REAL VR systems
• Maintain a patient caseload ratio of approximately 6 patients per therapist
• Document patient progress and treatment plans using UDS ProDoc EHR
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to support patient recovery goals

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license/certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a PTA
• Experience working with adult patient populations
• No float requirements for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation
• Experience in neurological rehabilitation, including CVA patients
• Familiarity with inpatient rehabilitation environments and workflows
