Job Title

Travel RN – Surgical Telemetry

Location

Lewisville, TX | Inpatient Surgical Telemetry Unit

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Projected Start: October 26, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 19-bed Surgical Telemetry unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
• Utilize Baxter IV pumps, Welch Allyn VS machines, and Meditech EMR to deliver and document care
• Perform ambulation of patients and wound care as needed
• Collaborate with an RN/LVN/PCT team including charge nurses and patient care technicians on day shift
• Float to sister departments including Ortho Trauma and Inpatient Rehab as needed
• Work alongside an admission/discharge team to support the admitting and discharging process for medical-surgical patients

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Texas
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical experience
• Minimum 1 year of Telemetry experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge nurse experience
• Preceptor experience
• Positive attitude and strong team-player mentality
