Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | Night Shift | 3×12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Complete required facility orientation modules, assessments, and annual hands-on competency requirements as applicable

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted
• Active AHA BLS certification — must be in hand at time of submission; no pending certifications accepted
• Active AHA ACLS certification — must be in hand at time of submission; no pending certifications accepted
• One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required (co-worker references will not be accepted)
• Must be able to pass an ECG rhythm recognition test and a medication safety assessment during orientation (up to 2 attempts permitted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience gained within a single facility or location is preferred, though not required
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation in an acute care setting
• Prior travel nursing experience with demonstrated compliance in high-volume health systems
