Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Complete required facility orientation modules, assessments, and annual competency requirements as applicable

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license — must be in hand at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted
• Active AHA BLS certification required — must be in hand at time of submission; no pending certifications accepted
• Active AHA ACLS certification required — must be in hand at time of submission; no pending certifications accepted
• One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required (co-worker references will not be accepted)
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience within a single Med/Surg Telemetry location preferred, though combined experience across locations will be considered
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessment processes
• Experience working in a large health system or academic medical environment
