X-Ray / Radiology Tech

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (26 Weeks) | Night Shift | 5×8-Hour Shifts | Monday – Friday; Weekends as Needed | Shift Hours: 22:30–07:00

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging in an acute care hospital setting
• Operate portable X-ray equipment as required by patient care needs
• Support neurological intervention (NI) expansion initiatives within the department
• Maintain compliance with facility assessment requirements, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations during orientation
• Adhere to all facility compliance standards, including annual hands-on competency requirements for continuous contract travelers

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification required — must be active and in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification (AHA) required — must be active and in hand at time of submission
• Permanent Ohio state license required and must be in hand at time of submission (compact licenses accepted for starts dated 1/1/23 and forward)
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as an X-Ray Tech required
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for, prior to travel
• Locals are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Siemens imaging equipment preferred
• Experience working with portable X-ray units
• Background in acute care or high-volume hospital environments
