Registered Nurse – Family Birthing Center (Labor & Delivery)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Family Birthing Center / Labor and Delivery setting
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum phases
• Interpret and respond to electronic fetal monitoring data in accordance with clinical protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support safe outcomes for mothers and newborns
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Required Qualifications

• Active Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) License
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
• Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) Certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Labor and Delivery or Family Birthing Center environment
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in high-acuity maternal care situations
• Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced birthing unit
