Job Title

CNA – Skilled Nursing Facility (All Shifts)

Location

Alturas, CA | Skilled Nursing Facility

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (Shifts include some weekends and holidays)

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and give report on resident conditions, ensuring clear understanding of care to be provided
• Make rounds on each resident; assess new residents and any resident who is ill, has fallen, or sustained an injury
• Document assessments in accordance with facility policy
• Notify nursing staff of any changes in resident conditions or needs
• Assist with direct patient care and ensure call lights are answered promptly
• Promote positive working relationships with other departments, co-workers, residents, families, and physicians; may be required to float to other units as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active California CNA License required
• Experience working in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
• Strong communication skills and ability to function effectively as part of a team
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as part of the regular schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a SNF or LTC environment
• Familiarity with resident assessment and documentation procedures
• Experience floating between units or departments
