Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (HVTI)

Contract | Days/Nights Rotating | 3×12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a stepdown/HVTI unit setting, with potential to float to additional units caring for the same patient population
• Perform and interpret ECG rhythm recognition as assessed during orientation
• Administer and manage medications safely, as evaluated through competency assessment during orientation
• Participate in holiday rotation, working at least every other holiday
• Complete required annual hands-on competency training and facility-assigned modules as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification — must be active and in hand at time of submission
• ACLS certification — must be active and in hand at time of submission
• NIHSS certification — must be active and in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 12 months permanent experience in IMC/PCU/Stepdown specialty
• One professional reference required from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience within a single facility for the required specialty experience period
• Familiarity with stepdown or cardiovascular/thoracic patient populations
• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care or high-acuity setting
