Physical Therapist – Travel Contract

Maysville, KY | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | Onsite | Expected 37.5 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services across an 80% outpatient and 20% inpatient caseload within a rehabilitation department setting
• Evaluate and treat patients with a focus on orthopedic conditions including back, neck, and shoulder pain, as well as joint replacements
• Deliver one-on-one patient care at a strict 1:1 patient ratio
• Participate in weekend call rotation on a 1:4 schedule
• Maintain required licensure (MSPT or DPT) and adhere to all facility and Joint Commission standards

Required Qualifications

• Master of Science in Physical Therapy (MSPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) required
• Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license eligible for practice in Kentucky
• Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience
• Demonstrated experience in general outpatient settings including back, neck, and shoulder pain and joint replacement rehabilitation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with general medical inpatients and joint surgery patients
• Outgoing and personable demeanor well-suited to a patient-centered care environment
• Familiarity with predominantly adult orthopedic outpatient populations
