Job Title

Radiology Technologist (X-ray/Rad Tech)

Location

Louisville, KY | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4×10-hour shifts or 3×12-hour shifts | Weekend rotation (every 3rd weekend) | Holiday rotation included | No on-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general diagnostic x-ray imaging across inpatient, outpatient, ER, OR, and trauma settings
• Conduct portable imaging studies throughout the hospital as needed
• Float to the ER, OR, and other areas of the hospital based on departmental needs
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment including Shimadzu, Konica, Fuji, Carestream, GE and Philips c-arms, and Medtronic O-arm
• Document and manage imaging records using Cerner EMR
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification required
• Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) state license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist
• Proficiency in general x-ray, orthopedic imaging, trauma imaging, and portable studies
• First-time travelers will be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• OR imaging experience highly preferred; candidates without sufficient OR experience may be utilized in the ER
• O-arm (Medtronic) experience preferred but not required
• Experience working in high-volume, fast-paced imaging environments
