Job Title

Intensive Care Registered Nurse (ICU RN)

Location

Simi Valley, CA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Day Shift | Expected 36–48 hours/week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses, care issues, and develop individualized care plans
• Implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and evaluate progress toward patient outcomes in an ICU setting
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to provide safe, patient-centered care
• Supervise and delegate duties to assigned nursing staff, applying critical thinking and independent professional judgment
• Provide health education and information to patients and families; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain a safe healing environment and adhere to established standards of care and nursing process guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC)
• ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC)
• PALS certification required (AHA or ARC)
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum two years of recent ICU or acute care experience
• EPIC electronic health records experience required
• Willingness to work holidays; one holiday off may be considered with the expectation of working the remaining holiday

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior experience in an acute care facility setting
• Familiarity with discharge planning processes and interdisciplinary care coordination
