Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-Week Assignment | Days/Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | Expected 36 Hours/Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit setting, managing critically ill patients with complex medical needs
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, responding promptly to changes in patient status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Float as needed to PCU, Medical-Surgical, and Telemetry units
• Adhere to weekend and holiday rotation requirements as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Minnesota RN license required upon submission (candidates with a temporary MN license who are actively pursuing full licensure will be considered)
• AHA BLS certification required upon submission
• ACLS certification required upon submission
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• New graduates are not eligible for this position
• Requested time off must be 7 days or less

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with EPIC electronic health records system preferred
• Experience floating to PCU, Medical-Surgical, or Telemetry units
