RN – Cardiac Cath Lab

Jackson, MS | Cardiac Cath Lab

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (0800–1630) | 5×8s | Expected 40 hours/week | Call required: 2 nights per week and 3 weekends out of every 8 minimum (Friday–Sunday); holiday call or work as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care within a Cardiac Cath Lab setting, supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Perform circulating duties during cardiac procedures
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation throughout procedures
• Conduct hemodynamic monitoring and interpret findings to support patient safety
• Fulfill on-call obligations including nights and weekends as scheduled
• Document patient care accurately using electronic health record systems

Required Qualifications

• Active Mississippi Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Cardiac nursing experience
• Experience with moderate sedation and hemodynamic monitoring
• Experience circulating cardiac procedures
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Scrub experience in a cardiac cath lab environment
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
