Job Title

Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Nights

Location

Hilo, HI | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 15-Week Assignment | Expected 36 hours/week (3×12-hour shifts) following initial orientation week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed Emergency Room department, including 4 trauma bays, 2 behavioral health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitor rooms
• Manage a fast-paced, high-turnover patient environment with efficiency and clinical accuracy
• Collaborate within a team-oriented setting to deliver timely emergency and trauma care
• Monitor and respond to cardiac patients utilizing department monitoring equipment
• Support behavioral health patient needs within designated care rooms

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — Hawaii state license required by assignment start date
• Emergency Room nursing experience
• Ability to work night shifts in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in trauma care settings
• Familiarity with behavioral health patient management in an ED environment
• Experience with cardiac monitoring
