Job Title

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Key Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with department protocols and standards of care
• Operate GE nuclear medicine equipment to acquire and process diagnostic images
• Perform venipuncture as required for radiopharmaceutical administration
• Document patient information and imaging data accurately using EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and facility compliance requirements throughout all procedures

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of nuclear medicine experience
• Active New York State Radiology Technologist License required
• ARRT (N) or CNMT/NMTCB certification required (either accepted)
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Venipuncture experience required
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS required
• GE nuclear medicine machine experience required
• Must have a personal vehicle — firm requirement
• Candidates with a permanent address in the following New York counties are not eligible for this assignment: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CT experience is a plus
• Previous travel/contract assignment experience strongly encouraged
• Completed verbal de-escalation training (Welle or CPI) preferred prior to onboarding
