Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM | 3×12-Hour Shifts | Expected 36 or 48 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Document patient information and clinical data accurately using Epic EMR
• Float to like units within scope of practice as needed based on facility needs, following brief unit orientation
• Complete required onsite orientation modules during scheduled orientation period
• Fulfill expected weekend shift commitment of 2 shifts per contract period

Required Qualifications

• Valid Kansas RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• BLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• ACLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• PALS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• NIHSS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• TNCC certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room experience
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
• All requested time off (RTO) must be listed at time of submittal

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience welcomed, though first-time travelers are accepted
• Experience floating to like units in a hospital setting
