LTC Registered Nurse (RN)
Location
New Hampton, IA | Skilled Nursing Facility
Schedule / Job Type
Contract (8 Weeks) | PRN | Mid Shift | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to long-term care and skilled nursing facility residents
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes to the appropriate care team members
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of resident care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or a compact license that covers Iowa
- Experience working in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an LTC or SNF environment
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Strong communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced care setting
