Job Title

Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics (NICU/PICU)

Cincinnati, OH | Acute Care (Pediatric)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every other weekend (Sunday at minimum) | Holiday rotation required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within NICU and PICU settings on night shift rotations
• Adhere to every-other-weekend scheduling requirements, including Sunday shifts, with potential for additional weekend coverage
• May float within the hospital system, including to an alternate campus as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation; Epic charting experience preferred
• Complete an additional on-site background check and fingerprinting on the first day of assignment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Respiratory Therapy, specifically within the applying specialty (NICU/PICU)
• Valid Ohio Respiratory Therapist License required at time of submission (single-state OH or multi-state compact license accepted)
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Supervisor reference required within the past 2 years
• No previous license disciplinary actions on record
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates; candidates within 50 miles will be classified as local and local rates will apply
• Time-off requests must be submitted at the time of candidate submission; a maximum of 5 days may be requested, and block scheduling is not permitted except for Friday–Sunday weekends

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health records system
• Prior travel therapy experience, though first-time travelers with the required specialty experience are welcome to apply
