Job Title

Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse

Location

Hermiston, OR | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | Thursday–Saturday or Sunday–Tuesday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct, individualized nursing care to adult ICU patients, including assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and monitoring vital signs
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment
• Initiate and maintain the computerized Plan of Care upon patient admission
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes
• Uphold patient confidentiality and deliver age-specific, culturally sensitive, and psychosocially appropriate care
• Agency staff may be floated to other departments where qualified before core staff is floated

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• Current RN license in the State of Oregon
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Demonstrated continuing education appropriate to skill level and area of practice

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
• Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) credential
• Previous Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• CRASE training (may be required if assignment extends beyond six months)
