Job Title

Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Travel Contract

Location

Austin, TX | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM | Every Other Weekend | No Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across a 368-bed facility as part of a team of 6–7 staff per shift
• Operate and manage ventilator equipment including Servo, Hamilton, and Airvo systems
• Document patient care and clinical data using the Meditech EMR system
• Manage a patient load of approximately 35–45 units of service (UOS) per shift
• Collaborate with a supervisor and fellow RTs to deliver safe, high-quality respiratory care on the night shift

Required Qualifications

• RRT or CRT credential required
• Active Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner (TX RCP) license required
• Minimum of one year of adult respiratory therapy experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NICU experience strongly preferred
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
