Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Travel

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across adult, NICU, and pediatric service lines in a high-acuity hospital setting
• Operate and manage ventilators and respiratory equipment including GE R860 adult vents, Draeger infant/pediatric vents, Newport HT70 transport vent, V60 non-invasive devices, and Vapotherm/Comfort Flow high-flow oxygen devices
• Document patient care accurately using the Cerner EMR system
• Float to all critical care units and floor areas as needed
• Fulfill varying weekend shift requirements, with a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Maintain RRT credentialing and all required certifications throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential — required; CRTs will not be considered
• Active North Carolina Respiratory Therapy License
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Experience in NICU or pediatric respiratory care settings
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR
