Job Title

Travel RN – Emergency Department

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 52-bed Emergency Department operating at an average 3:1 patient ratio (low acuity up to 5:1; pediatric patients managed via team nursing)
• Perform IV starts, medication administration, procedural sedation, and pediatric care
• Administer and document medications using Alaris equipment; scan patient medications with every administration
• Utilize Meditech/CPN EMR for accurate and timely documentation
• Maintain a strong focus on patient experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, physicians, midlevel providers, techs, and unit clerks

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Emergency Department experience
• Active RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• CPI Blue Card required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ENPC certification
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Previous travel experience in large facility or high-volume settings
