Travel RN – Emergency Department

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, 52-bed Emergency Department with an average patient ratio of 3:1 (low acuity up to 5:1; pediatric patients managed via team nursing)
• Perform IV starts, medication administration, sedation support, and pediatric care
• Administer and document medications using Alaris pumps; medication scanning is expected with every patient encounter
• Collaborate within a structured pod model alongside charge nurses, physicians, and midlevel providers
• Maintain a strong focus on patient experience throughout all interactions

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current hospital Emergency Department experience
• Active RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• CPI Blue Card required
• Ability to work at a high pace and adapt quickly in a diverse, dynamic environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ENPC certification
• Experience with Meditech/CPN EMR
• Prior travel experience in large hospital facilities or high-volume settings
