Physical Therapist – Hand Therapy Specialist

Contract | Days | 5×8 Hours, Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized hand therapy services across two outpatient clinic locations (Portland and Beaverton)
• Perform custom splint fabrication for a variety of hand and upper extremity conditions
• Evaluate and treat patients with complex hand trauma and post-surgical diagnoses
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR
• Complete required onboarding modules prior to start date

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license; valid state license preferred at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on hand therapy experience required; new graduates will not be considered
• BLS certification (AHA Traditional card required; RQI not accepted)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must achieve a score of 85% or higher on required Relias competency exams
• No background or license violations; a comprehensive lifetime background review will be conducted
• Locals are welcome; same rates apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential strongly preferred
• Expertise in custom splinting techniques
• Experience managing complex hand trauma and surgical cases
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
