Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Level I Emergency Department setting with a 4:1 patient ratio
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across a wide acuity range
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Cerner EMR (prior Cerner experience required)
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs as required
• Participate in onsite orientation modules as directed by the Nurse Educator

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license — Tennessee license or compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Prior Cerner EMR experience required
• Pending licenses are not accepted
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted
• 2 references required (may be pending at time of submittal)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification preferred but not required
• Experience in a high-volume or Level I trauma/emergency environment
