Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Tomahawk, WI | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Rotating 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting
• Rotate through variable 12-hour shifts, including every third weekend and every other holiday
• Assume Charge RN responsibilities as assigned
• May be required to float to other regional facilities as needed, with float shifts potentially prescheduled
• May be placed on call during low census periods with applicable on-call pay
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR (required)

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) License
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• PALS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience
• Proficiency in Epic EMR is required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Charge RN or leadership role within an emergency department
• Familiarity with multi-site or float pool nursing environments
• Experience working in rural or critical access hospital settings
