Travel RN – Labor & Delivery

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Projected Start: November 2, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Labor & Delivery unit at a large, comprehensive acute care facility
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective outcomes for patients and newborns
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and responses
• Adhere to all facility policies, Joint Commission standards, and applicable regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Tennessee (or Compact license)
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume Labor & Delivery unit within a large hospital setting
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills in a team-based care environment
