Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/COTA)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy support services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans to support patient rehabilitation and recovery
• Support patient well-being through therapeutic activities and interventions in a long term care setting
• Document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas OTA/COTA license or compact license equivalent accepted in Texas (Required)
• Minimum of 2 years of COTA experience (Required)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a long term care or skilled nursing facility setting
• Strong communication and documentation skills
