Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 1:6
• Document patient information and clinical data using Epic electronic health records
• Monitor and assess telemetry patients, responding appropriately to changes in condition
• Float to units of equal acuity as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (State or Compact) — must be in hand at time of submittal; license hits are not accepted
• All requested time off must be disclosed at time of submittal
• Candidates must not reside in the following counties to be eligible: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
• Previous employees of the facility must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Must be able to complete required onboarding core items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, preferably in Medical Surgical or Telemetry settings
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
