Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Travel)

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department serving a diverse patient population including traumas, STEMIs, stroke, cardiac, GI, psychiatric, and pediatric cases
• Manage patient assignments across pod, critical, and fast track areas in accordance with established patient ratios
• Utilize Cerner EHR for accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality emergency nursing care
• Maintain compliance with all required certifications including ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Fulfill expected weekend shift commitments of approximately 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma nursing experience
• Pediatric emergency care experience
• Familiarity with Cerner EHR
• Demonstrated ability to work in a high-acuity, high-volume emergency environment
