Job Title
Intensive Care Registered Nurse (ICU RN)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift | Expected 36–48 hours/week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses, care issues, and develop individualized care plans
- Implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote patient health and a safe environment
- Evaluate patient progress toward outcomes and identify adjustments needed to meet patient goals
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to deliver care in a safe, healing, and patient-centered environment
- Provide health education and information directly to patients, families, and the treatment team; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members using critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
- Minimum of two years of recent ICU or acute care nursing experience
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system required
- Must meet facility vaccination requirements as a condition of employment; medical and religious exemptions may apply
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Prior experience in an acute care facility setting
- Strong critical thinking and independent clinical judgment skills in a high-acuity environment
