X-Ray / Radiology Tech (Radiology/Cardiology)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 5×8-Hour Shifts (8:00–16:00) | No On-Call | No Weekends Required

Key Responsibilities

• Independently perform routine and complex X-ray examinations in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Assist with fluoroscopy procedures as needed
• Image up to approximately 30 patients per day within the Diagnostic Radiology department
• Float between units within the facility as operationally required
• Provide strong patient care and maintain clear communication with clinical staff and patients throughout imaging procedures

Required Qualifications

• Valid Texas X-Ray / Radiology Tech license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Tech
• Experience working in a fast-paced acute care or Level II Trauma Center environment
• Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day
• All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Level II Trauma Center setting
• Demonstrated ability to manage high patient imaging volumes efficiently
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a clinical environment
