Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Ortho / Neuro)

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 16-bed Orthopedic / Neurology unit
• Manage a patient assignment of 6–8 patients per shift
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for ortho and neuro patient populations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient recovery and discharge planning
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or a compact state license
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work night shifts as scheduled

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an orthopedic or neurology nursing setting
• Familiarity with post-surgical patient care and neuro assessment protocols
• Experience managing higher patient ratios in an acute care environment
