Job Title

CT Scan Multi-Modality Specialist

Location

Clearlake, CA | Critical Access Hospital

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and computed tomography (CT) examinations competently across at least two imaging modalities
• Operate a Siemens CT scanner and standard x-ray equipment in accordance with departmental protocols
• Safely transport and transfer patients between gurneys and wheelchairs
• Prepare contrast agents for medical imaging procedures following established safety guidelines
• Perform mobile imaging examinations, including radiographic and fluoroscopic studies, as needed
• Test defibrillator equipment and verify the integrity of the crash cart

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology
• Current Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in the state of practice
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) certification required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
• Minimum of two years of recent experience in the field
• Proficiency in both x-ray and CT modalities required; must be able to perform both regularly
• Experience with Epic EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related field
• Three or more years of technical imaging experience
• ARRT certification in one or more additional advanced modalities such as Mammography (M), MRI, or Sonography (S)
• Familiarity with Siemens CT scanner equipment
