Job Title

Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Key Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Provide direct patient care to support functional independence in daily living activities
• Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs as directed by the supervising OT

Required Qualifications

• Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of California
• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification
• Ability to work day shift hours
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior clinical experience as a COTA in a relevant care setting
• Experience working within an interdisciplinary team environment
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
